Think Pink

I am entering this card also on the copicoz.blogspot.com challenge as for each card entered, they will donate to the McGrath Foundation $5.  I have seen various versions of the bra on blogs and splitcoaststampers.com over the past couple of years when browsing here and there, but this is my take on it using an scalloped circle easel card.

This is actually the first card I made, though it was supposed to look totally different when I started it.  That happens a lot for me, my craft takes me on a little adventure.

Thinking Pink

I am entering this card on the copicoz.blogspot.com challenge for October to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness.  For each card entered, they will donate to the McGrath Foundation $5.

So this is the first card, which is actually the second card I made. The girl is from a set that was also a fundraising set with SimplyBettyStamps (see Simplybstamps.net) so there is another donation to a worthy cause.

A Week of La-La Land Cards - Day 3

This is Fancy Marci together with elements from the Brick Wall Set and Stump Set all by La-La Land Crafts.  The background of the hills, sky and rainbow are from Make It Crafty.
It was originally made to be an entry into a copic competition but things happen, snail mail takes too long and it didn't make it to the competition which was the theme of "somewhere over the rainbow".
One day she will get to travel somewhere, hopefully along the yellow brick road in her ruby slippers.

A Week of La-La Land Cards - Day 2

I thought I would showcase a week of La-La Land images that I have coloured and made into cards.
 This is Cheerleader Marci.
A year ago, she was the first image I used from La-La Land and it was my first attempt at Copic Markers, I thought I would try her again with some extra colours and after a lot of practice to see if I have improved any...

Fathers Day Card

Fathers Day is today in Australia and I made this card for Tony from all of us.  I used the Fisherman Luka from La-La Land Crafts.  My husband Tony has always stated he hates fishing.  Well in July, we took the kids out camping with friends and they all had a go fishing on the riverbank.  The kids all caught fish and so did Tony and after that, it was quite often that we caught him throwing in a line. Now he wants to get fishing gear for the whole family.... not bad for someone who hates fishing!  Luka reminds me a lot of our son Harry so it seemed fitting to give him this image.

I made four fathers day cards this year, Tony doesn't actually know which card is his and he won't find out until he gets home in just over a week.... I tried to be organised and get him a box of chocolates, caught the kids eating them for breakfast this morning... I tried, I really did!

Another baby

Anyone would think I was clucky with all these baby cards, but four children under 8 is definitely enough for us.  I love the images from Mo Manning, I hope you like what I made with this one.  I rolled the roses from a My Favourite Things Dienamics Die, they were so easy, another new favourite.

A Card For Baby Lily

A teacher from my work asked me to create a card for her new niece Lily and this is what I created.  Luckily it was craft night so I had the night to focus on the card.  I hope the family likes the card, I always worry when I am making a card for someone else.

The image is from Mo Manning and I coloured it with my copics and spica pens.  The card was finished off with a spritz of Perfect Pearls Mist "Perfect Pearl".  The card has matching dotty paper inside with a verse off the rubons to finish it.

Supplies - Blossom Textured Card Stock, Lullaby "Bundle of Joy" and Girl Rubons, Diva and Diamond Bling, Kaisercraft White Pearls, Fairy Floss Paper Blooms Large and Small.

Jude & The Rockers

Jude & The Rockers - My Family

These are Simply Betty Stamps and is a project I did back in October 2011.
Each square is made from chipboard and joined together to form a display representing each member in the family.  All images are coloured with copic pens and it came together very quickly.

This is Jude, for Dad - Dad can't play the guitar but seeing as it is Jude and the Rockers, I thought he should have Jude... besides Oscar suits Harry better!

This is Ali, for Mum (the leftover Girl after I allocated the others to our girls!)

This is Ariel, for our Molly who actually now wears Glasses also!

This is Oscar, totally cool like our Harry

This is Lily which our Lily thinks is cool for her

This is Brittany representing our Abby
The stars were made from textured cardstock using Spellbinders "Stars Five" then spritzed with Perfect Pearls Mist"Perfect Pearl" to make them shimmer.  An easy way to make bling cardstock to match your plain textured card.
Core Amour - Prince and Princess - Edge Guitar - this paper is white when you start and when you sand it, the stars appear in blue, really cool effect. The other papers in the collection have different shapes appear when you sand them.  I spritzed this with the Perfect Pearls Mist as well when I finished sanding it.

Three Magnolia's

I have three beautiful girls who need birthday cards, they are sisters and their brother is Adon who I made a card for as well.  They are gorgeous girls and have a very crafty Mum who introduced me to scrapbooking six years ago.  We haven't seen each other's family in person for four years, since our babies were then all less than one year old, their baby is Hannah who is turning 5 and I have since had another baby who is now 2 1/2.  We are in touch often, can't wait to see them all in July.  They also have another brother Levi and I made him a card back in January.  All growing up so fast, I hope they like their cards...

Boys Cards

I find Male cards a challenge as I love girly cards with lots of bling, ribbons and glitter.  I had two males to make cards for, one who is now a teenager and the other my Dad so when I created the first, I knew I would be making another very similar!  I hope they like them.

Dad’s Birthday
Same supplies as for Adon’s card except colours of cardstock are Chocolate textured cardstock, Pomegranate textured cardstock, Brown Sugar textured cardstock.
